Chinese new year


CHINESE NEW YEAR 2016






    
   
   Chinese New Year was celebrated by the Filipino-Chinese communities here in the Philippines. Most of Filipino-Chinese families prepare lucky money in red envelopes, serve sweet foods and display various food and fruits in the table. And some filipino people participate in parades and dragon dances. In Chinese New Year the Filipino-Chinese has an tradition like buying tikoy that made from a sticky rice. There is a parade where the dragons are dancing and the people are enjoying while watching the dragon dance. The dragon has a lion head and has a long body that full of colorful fabric and has a two person that control the dragon.
